Easter break: Private schools to resume academic work April 6

The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has announced for all private schools in the country to resume academic work on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, after this year’s Easter holidays which starts April 2, 2021.

GNACOPS in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh has directed Heads of Private schools are to break learners from academic activities from April 2, 2021 to April 5, 2021 to mark the Easter celebration.

“This is to inform our member schools across the country that the Easter Holidays as slated on the GNACOPS 2021 academic calendar begins Friday April 2, 2021 and end Monday April 5, 2021,” it stated in the release.

But unlike public schools that will resume academic work on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, private schools nationwide will resume Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
