Like any other International school in the world, the most expensive International School is determined by the quality of education, school facilities, subjects, and services rendered. Uganda is no exception when it comes to the most expensive International schools.

Most International schools are based in the suburban areas of Uganda and families with stable financial backgrounds send their kids to these schools. International schools mostly run on International curricula.

Kampala International School, Uganda (KISU)

It is one of the best schools in Uganda with yearly fees ranging from Ugx. 14,980,778 to Ugx. 95,285,145. The school offers a well-structured International curriculum to its students. It was founded in 1993 as a primary school and it now has about 600 students with 20 per class. The student population is very diverse with different kids attending the school, not Ugandans.

International School of Uganda

The school is located in Kampala with yearly fees ranging from Ugx. 24,043,224 to Ugx. 102,461,123. It was established by a non-profit organization as a co-educational school in 1967 that offers International Baccalaureate(IB) programs to students from the age of 2 years to 19 years old. The student body is about 500.

Galaxy International School

GISU as its called is a private school that offers a modern approach to teaching and learning in a holistic manner. The school has supported facilities that make learning conducive and interactive. Its yearly fees range from Ugx. 16,608,319 to Ugx. 44,757,386. The school also offers a 5% discount to parents who make an advance payment of the fees for a whole year.

L’Ecole Francaise Les Grands Lacs

As the name suggests, this school is run on a French curriculum. It is located in the nearby city outskirt of Lugogo, next to Kati Kati. The school is part of the French Agency for Education Abroad (AEFE), a unique international network in the world consisting of 492 schools in more than 130 countries. The school fees range from Ugx. 15,964,612 to Ugx. 30,523,100.

Vienna College, Namugongo

This school curriculum is based on the British Curriculum of Cambridge International Extermination syllabus. It was established in February 1999 and it has over 400 students now. It is the largest Cambridge International school based on the enrollment of students. Their school fees range from Ugx. 12,095,719 to Ugx. 24,424,345.
