The Education Think Tank in a statement copied to EducationWeb.com.gh said the central government adopting digitization of the questions transmission process is the only way to minimise the annual leakage of questions.

“We call for increased security of WAEC question papers from the depots to the Centres, and a digitization of the questions transmission process to minimise, if not remove the human elements involved,” the Watch stated.

According to EduWatch, it is closely monitoring the conduct of the 2021 WASSCE for School with other partners to ensure credibility and accountability in Ghana’s public pretertiary education assessment space.

“Eduwatch and partners are monitoring WASSCE 2021 from over 100 schools nationwide to support government’s efforts to improve the credibility and accountability in Ghana’s public pretertiary education assessment space,”

Meanwhile, the Head of Post Examinations Department – WAEC, Mrs Rosemond Wilson has said some unscrupulous supervisors of the Examinations Council are the main cause of the annual examination questions leakage.
